Family!!

Conference was amazing!!! It was very much needed!! I loved every second of it and it went by way to fast!! It’s funny. As a little kid I thought conference lasted for forever! But now it’s not long enough!! Watching President Monson melted my heart and made me cry! I agree, mom, with everything you said!! Those were my thoughts exactly! I wanted so bad to go and lift him up and say "You’re doing amazing! We love you!," He is such an amazing man! He is a superhero! He has gone above and beyond! He is the example of how to magnify your calling and enduring to the end! He is such a great example of "finishing strong with your torch lit!" I love him so much and have such a great respect and love for him! He has gone through so much! I wish there was more as members we could do to help!

I loved Elder Renlund too!! The minute he started talking I was filled with such a great love for him! He is an amazing man! Another great heart surgeon! As well as the other apostles. They are great and are for sure called of God!

The talk that struck me the most was Elder Holland's and Elder Nelson’s talks. It’s so important, not as just women of the church but as a whole, that we are different, that we stand out! That we let the light shine that is within us! It’s so important that we are covenant keepers in all that we do! We have been sent during these times because Heavenly Father knew how strong we were and that we can withstand these times in the last days! He knows our potential and what we can become!  I love the quote from Elder Hales "Not everyone is perfect but everyone has potential." So true!

As I was reading in the scriptures this week I was reading about King Lamoni and Ammon. The part when Ammon and King Lamoni come across his Lamoni’s dad. After such a hard time trying to convince King Lamoni’s dad to let them through and not kill them, in the end it was the love that Ammon had that softened his heart and changed his thoughts about the church. It is was because Ammon was different. He wasn't like the rest who would have killed King Lamoni’s father. He stood up for what he knew to be true and because of his love and light King Lamoni was converted.

I wish I could just write everything I learned and liked in conference but I don't have that much time. I will have to tell you when I get home! :)

This week I had my exit interview with President Richardson! It was really really good! The best part was when I first walked in and he looked right at me and said with a big smile, “you did it! You endured and I am so proud of you!”  It made me so happy! I did do it! Despite of everything I made it! I felt so good! I couldn't help but imagine how it is going to be when I come face to face with Heavenly Father. I want him to be able to say those exact words to me! President Richardson explained the plans for our last day and then we talked about after the mission and what I want to do and about marriage and dating. The spirit was so strong as he quoted my Patriarchal Blessing where it talks about my husband. It was crazy! My jaw dropped! By the end we were both in tears! After the interview he gave me a huge hug.

This week we dropped everyone and cleaned up our area! It was super hard when no one had desire to progress and learn more. So once again we have been knocking and knocking! It has been an adventure and we feel like we have knocked all of our area, but we know those miracles are out there!!

The ward has been amazing! I am already receiving goodbye gifts and on Tuesday after our Family Home Evening they are having a party for me. I am going to miss them so much!!! It’s already been emotional!! These people mean so much to me!! I don't want to say goodbye!!

I am super excited for this week and what’s to come!! The weather has been so so. Rain and rain and sun. It’s starting to get cooler though! My back hasn't been doing too hot though this week  I broke down and took a narcotic before bed. It helped a bit but I just woke up sick and with the pain still there. It scares me that it isn't strong enough. But that's okay! We will figure everything out when I get home! I am doing well though, so no worries!! :)

I love you all soo much!! I miss you! I hope you have a great week!! Thank you for all you do!!

 Love,
 Sister Heacock! :)

Dear Family!!!!

This week I will have my exit interview with president! I am excited and not. It’s sad that it will be my last one. I really love him and Sister Richardson so much!!! It’s going to be an interview filled with different emotions but it will be good!!

This week was a great week!! It’s been raining like no other which has been good. Has been a nice break from the sun!  This week Jasmine came to church! It was so amazing! We hadn't been able to see her all week because she was in Orlando but she came to church and loved it! After church, we scheduled to come over later that night. Well when we got there, it turns out her family was having a Sunday night football party. So she invited us in and fed us a bunch! Her food is soo good! We were able to talk a little bit about baptism with her but she said she didn't feel ready yet. We were bummed but it was also super crazy so we are going to continue to work with her and talk about baptism with her when it’s a more spiritual setting. She is amazing and I love her!! She will get baptized! It won’t be when I am here but she will and that's all that matters! :)

We were also able to find Jackie this week! She is so elect! We said a prayer with her and she accepted baptism right away!! She felt the spirit so strong! We are going to go see her tomorrow! She is so cute! I am excited to continue to teach her!! :)

Me and Sister Moise are doing great!! I love Hialeah so much!!! The ward is being funny and has a countdown for me and every week they ask "Are you trunky yet?"  I could not have asked for a better area and ward to end in! I love the people so much!!!! They just make me so happy!! :)

The women’s conference was amazing!!!!!! I loved the quote "There are two important moments in a girl’s life, when she is born and when she finds out why." So good!!! Elder Uchdorf’s talk was amazing! It was an answer to my prayers! It taught me how to be happy in very moment and to be like that pioneer girl in the picture! So skip happily! Always see the bright side of things! :) I am so excited for conference!!!! Best way to end! I have never been so excited before. My spirit is in need of spiritual food hahaha

I love you all so much!!1 I miss you all so much!!

            Love, Sister Heacock

Family!!

This week we had Stake Conference and we got the privilege of being able to see and listen to Elder Suarez from the Quorum of the Seventy! He and Elder Thompson came to create a new stake!! It was crazy! It was so amazing to see that south Florida is growing to so much! They change the boundaries due to the new stake so our zone changed a bit. But, lucky for me I am still in the same zone! We went to the adult session and it was super good. Elder Suarez is amazing!!! He came and talked to me and Sister Moise! He is so powerful and down to earth, I love him! The adult session was all about having family councils and the importance of them. All about families! I feel like the more I get closer to the end of my mission that's all I hear about!!! I may have done an eye role but it was still really good and I learned a lot!!

Fancy yard ornament
I got to see Brother and Sister Riggin!!!!! That was the best!!!!!!!! I miss them so much!! We sat with them and caught up on everything! Sister Riggin was so happy that she got to hug me she rubbed it in to Brother Riggin because he was mad he couldn’t hug me hahah. They really want to meet up with us again when I am back home! Stake conference was really good! It was packed. It was all about keeping the Sabbath day holy! The First Presidency is really making a big push for this! All about "how will you remember him?" It was super powerful and I loved it!

Already getting pumpkins to decorate
This week we had a big miracle. The elders gave us a referral for a lady named Jasmine. We called her that same day and she invited us right over. Her uncle is a member from Honduras and has such an amazing testimony and love for the gospel! She is amazing!! She fed us balliatas and then we taught the restoration. It was really powerful!! She wants to be baptized and has a date for October 10th! She is reading the Book of Mormon. We are so excited to continue to teach her!! It was a great miracle!! Because we have been in a rut lately but God is good!! :)))

This week I was reading the talk Ask in Faith by Elder Bednar! Its super good!! I have been working on my prayers and improving them and this really helped! Read it when you get the chance!! Super powerful!

I love you all soo much!! Miss you!!!! Have a great week!!!!!!!! :))) xoxox
